About Me
I am a young Italian professional English, French and Arabic speaking,
with an MBA for the internationalization of firms.

Throughout 2011 I worked as Purchase Manager for Betatex S.p.a ., a joint stock company, active in the medical field.
There, I was responsible for seeking reliable suppliers to
provide quality components at reasonable prices, for the assemblage of
medical kits. I took care of the negotiations concerning prices and
contracts, monitoring the technical specifications for raw materials,
surgical and examination components. I determined quantity and timing of
the deliveries from all the world, forecasting the upcoming demand.

In 2010 I worked as the representative of an enterprise of road maintenance
willing to open a business in Poland. I had to visit Poland, developing
some market analysis on the field, while meeting institutional partners
(the Italian Embassy, the Italian Trade Commission and the Polish Authorities for foreign investments), and local enterprises in order to get public aid and
business cooperation, for the start up of the branch.

From February to May 2010 I worked as a teacher of English in an EU-funded
course for Italian workers and unemployed and in the end of 2009 I
completed a period of internship in the Egyptian Ministry of Trade and
Industry in Cairo, where I was in charge of the economic cooperation
between Egypt and Italy. This internship, sponsored and financed by the
Italian Company for the internationalisation of enterprises, SIMEST S.p.a. was the conclusion of an MBA for the internationalization of firms in the
Mediterranean.
This improved my proficiency in Arabic and allowed me to practice all the
knowledge gained during the MBA in project financing and marketing. In
Egypt I prepared the marketing analysis of the technology centres with the
aim to suggest to the First Under-secretary in the Ministry of Trade and
Industry, the engineer Hany Barakat new channels for the cooperation with
Europe and better strategies towards the Egyptian Technology centres'
development.

In 2004, I was a trainee in the Province of Perugia's Info Point Europa, an office of information aboutthe European Union policies.
There, providing help desk service to citizens, I gained a broader
awareness of the European policies, funding systems and traineeships or
job opportunities.

Furthermore, the administrative experience I developed
during the internship at the Italian Permanent Delegation to the European
Union, in 2006, gave me the opportunity to edit draft reports on a wide
range of topics, concerning the fields regulated by the European Union
Council, specifically about energy, economic and monetary policy. While
attending the European Union Council sessions, I recorded any national
position in the Councils' meetings, in order to prepare the conclusions,
in cooperation with the Italian experts of the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs. I related to my superior, the Italian Representative to the
"Antici" group, Luigi Maria Vignali, comparing the subsequent versions of
the Council draft conclusions, to understand the novelties and I
participated in the management of the Ambassador's correspondence, after
assisting him during the experts' conferences.
