أعلن نادي الأعمال العربي، أبرز شبكة تواصل للأعمال في المنطقة، اليوم عن تنظيم "الملتقى السنوي الثاني للمناطق الحرة في الشرق الأوسط"، والذي سيقام برعاية سمو الشيخ جمعة بن مكتوم بن جمعة آل مكتوم، الرئيس الفخري لمجلس إدارة نادي الأعمال العربي. ويشارك في الملتقى الذي سيقعد في فندق جروفنر هاوس بدبي في 13 مارس الجاري، نخبة من الرؤساء التنفيذيين والمدراء العامين لأهم المناطق الحرة في مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربي.


ويسلط كلاً من: المهندس الدكتور راشد الليم، مدير عام دائرة الموانئ والجمارك وهيئة المنطقة الحرة في الحمرية، الدكتور أيوب كاظم، مدير عام قرية دبي للمعرفة ومدينة دبي الأكاديمية العالمية العضوان في المجمع التعليمي التابع لتيكوم للاستثمارات، السيد أسامة العمري، المدير التنفيذي لهيئة المنطقة الحرة برأس الخيمة، إضافة إلى السيد نادر عطعوط، رئيس مجموعة تطوير الأعمال في هيئة المنطقة الإعلامية في أبوظبي( twofour54)، الضوء على باقة المزايا والحوافز والمرافق والخدمات الرئيسية التي توفرها المناطق الاقتصادية الحرة في الدولة أمام المستثمرين.

ويبحث المشاركون في الملتقى الحوافز والتسهيلات والتكاليف التشغيلية إضافة إلى الخدمات اللوجستية التي تقدمها المناطق الاقتصادية الحرة في منطقة الشرق الأوسط للشركات، ودروها في إستقطاب الاستثمارات الخارجية.

وقال حمدان محمد المرشدي، رئيس مجلس إدارة ورئيس "نادي الأعمال العربي"، "يشكّل الملتقى منصة مثالية تساهم في تعزيز الشراكات الإستراتيجية والعلاقات المتبادلة بين رواد قطاع الأعمال، وذلك من خلال توفير فرص تفاعلية من شأنها أن تنعكس بصورة إيجابية على واقع الإستثمار بالمناطق الحرة في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة والمنطقة عموماً. وتساهم المشاركة الواسعة لأبرز المدراء التنفيذيين في الحدث في بناء قنوات للتواصل مع رؤساء كبرى الشركات العالمية. كما أن مثل هذا الحضور يشكّل دافعاً رئيسياً لمواصلة العمل على إستضافة فعاليات مماثلة تعزز العلاقات بين المستثمرين من الدولة وخارجها".

يذكر أن "نادي الأعمال العربي" يضم 8500 من رواد أعمال ومستثمرين وصنّاع القرار وخبراء إقتصاديين ويهدف النادي إلى تفعيل التواصل بين رجال الأعمال من الدولة وخارجها، وتأسيس شراكات إستراتيجية وإطلاق مشاريع وإستثمارات واعدة. كما يسعى النادي للمساهمة في تعزيز التعاون الإقتصادي والتفاهم الحضاري والتكامل الثقافي وفتح قنوات للتواصل الفعال بين مختلف شعوب العالم

Dubai, UAE, 06 March 2012: Arab Business Club , the region's premier business networking platform for businessmen, investors and decision makers, announced today that it will be organizing its "2nd Middle East Free Zone Event" under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Juma Bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum, the Honorary Chairman of Arab Business Club . The event will be attended by key CEOs and director generals of the region's top free zones.

The event's four speakers, Dr. Rashid Alleem, Director General of Sharjah Ports and Customs and the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority; Dr. Ayoub Kazim, Director General of both Dubai Knowledge Village (DKV) and Dubai International Academic City (DIAC), both of which are members of the Education Cluster of TECOM Investments, a member of Dubai Holding; Mr. Oussama El Omari, Principal Advisor to the Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone "RAK FTZ" and Mr. Nader Atout, Executive Director of Business Development in Abu Dhabi Media Zone "TwoFour54", will shed the light on the several benefits, incentives, facilities and main services provided to investors by the country's free zones.

Participants in the event will discuss the incentives, facilities and operational costs in addition to the logistic services provided by the various free zones in the Middle East and their role in attracting foreign investments.

Keen on providing its members with the greatest opportunities and opening the doors for promising and lucrative business opportunities, Arab Business Club, the region's premier community for investors, business leaders and decision makers, organized on January the 29th its first delegation visit for the year 2013.
The delegation, comprised of chosen members, visited Gulf Medical University's Campus and attended a reception, presentation, site tour and lunch all prepared by Thumbay Group of Companies with the attendance of its founder and president, Mr. Thumbay Moideen.

The visit started at 11 AM with a cocktail reception that saw the club members and Thumbay's executives networking and exchanging opinions and ideas.

The receptions was followed by a seminar in one of the university's amphitheaters, The seminar opened by a speech by Mr. Hamdan Mohamed Al Morshedi, president and chairman of the board, Arab Business Club, who said: "Delegation visits are one of Arab Business Club's traditional activities that have proved to be exceptionally useful in bringing our members together and introducing them to market-leading players and decision makers. This is only the first visit of several delegation visits planned for our members throughout 2013."

Mr, Thumbay's speech was followed by a detailed presentation about Thumbay Group and Gulf Medical University in particular, given by Mr. Vinod Abraham, Director of external and international affairs, Thumbay Group, followed by exchanging of gifts of appreciation between Mr. Hamdan Mohamed Al Morshedi and Mr. Thumbay Moideen . An exciting site-tour followed, through which the delegation got to see first-hand the advanced level of education and training the students are getting in Gulf Medical University.

The site tour was followed by a delicious lunch full of tasty dishes prepared by Mr. Thumbay's own "The Terrace" restaurant.
