The company was founded in 1997 by Harald Ehrl in Plattling, Bavaria.

While its activities were focused mainly on setting up Novell networks in the early years, the focus started shifting to Microsoft technologies the soon afterwards. With this shift came the first requests for migration from our customers.

The need for custom made software tools quickly came apparent when migrating or optimizing IT infrastructures. This led to GAB to invest in its own software development.

Today, GAB possesses a suite of migration tools far more powerful than any commercially available software. Equipped with these tools, GAB´s highly qualified and experienced IT consultants are able to migrate big and highly complex IT infrastructures across the globe.
