Keen on providing its members with the greatest opportunities and opening the doors for promising and lucrative business opportunities, Arab Business Club, the region's premier community for investors, business leaders and decision makers, organized on January the 29th its first delegation visit for the year 2013.
The delegation, comprised of chosen members, visited Gulf Medical University's Campus and attended a reception, presentation, site tour and lunch all prepared by Thumbay Group of Companies with the attendance of its founder and president, Mr. Thumbay Moideen.

The visit started at 11 AM with a cocktail reception that saw the club members and Thumbay's executives networking and exchanging opinions and ideas.

The receptions was followed by a seminar in one of the university's amphitheaters, The seminar opened by a speech by Mr. Hamdan Mohamed Al Morshedi, president and chairman of the board, Arab Business Club, who said: "Delegation visits are one of Arab Business Club's traditional activities that have proved to be exceptionally useful in bringing our members together and introducing them to market-leading players and decision makers. This is only the first visit of several delegation visits planned for our members throughout 2013."

Venture to introduce niche jewelry concept, Sculptures to Wear in December

Italian-based art gallery – Sturiale Contemporary Arts- and UAE’s leading jewelry maker, Azza Al Qubaisi, have announced a strategic joint venture partnership to establish a cultural hub in UAE’s capital, Abu Dhabi.

The hub, which will be named Al Qubaisi Sturiale Projects, is expected to commence operations in April of 2012, according to Paolo Sturial, the CEO of Sturiale Contemporary Arts. The launch will be graced with an opening exhibition, by an established British-born mid-career artist, Galvin Harrison. The exhibition will be titled ‘Stack’, and it will involve original art works on paper.



“The hub is aimed at establishing and providing a fresh perspective into the artistic creative process and a further insight into the possibilities that will arise shortly after the merger,” said Paolo.

Sculptures to Wear
The Al Qubaisi Sturiale Projects hub is also expected to be the launch-pad for a unique jewelry concept dubbed ‘Sculptures to Wear’, in December of 2012. “This will be an innovative form of jewelry that utilizes both of our respective unique talents,” said Sturiale.

“There have been lengthy discussions as to how the talents of Azza Al-Qubaisi and her thriving business could merge with the ambitions of Sturiale Contemporary Arts to establish this joint concept. The discussions have come to fruition,” he noted.
